The Clockhouse Cafe in Moscow has come up with a revolutionary idea for time-rich cafe lovers-instead of being charged for food and drink, you pay for the time you spend there. On arrival, the costumer’s name and the time of entry is written on a piece of paper behind the counter, then they are giving an antique clock to take to their table. Costumers can then sit back and enjoy as much coffee, tea, toast and pastries as they like. The cost is 120 rubles per hour (£2.50), with 480 rubles for the maximum charge.

It has been a huge hit in Moscow and owner Ivan Meetin hopes to open a London branch soon.

Unlimited coffee and pastries, yes sure, please. I am in!!!!
